Told you guys I had it somewhere...Had my wife send me half of my cars from home to work on, and this bad boy was lodged in thre too!
Here's the story:

Started off as a true-to-scale model from Micro-trains. Was stripped, and then i went to work. Took a brake cylinder from a gondola or flat car underframe, drilled some holes to fit .08" brass wire and went to town. basically used a small file to jig the small radius bends to mate where I needed them to. Just used my best eye judgement while following the pictures. Then I CA glued the wires in place, and the hanging signs were glued, then the brake wheel bracket (Which I plan on replacing this week with a much thinner and anatomically correct bracket from a flat car. I didn't have one when I did this model.

I custom designed and printed the decals for all the lettering. Painted the model black, glossed it, decaled, and flat coated. I need to work on the couplers because i wasnt able to tightly body mount them like I should, so will probably end up retapping the hole and CA gluing them in. Then the model will be weathered, and done!

Nice work...In the past I painted seven n-scale RDG units for my brother which made me realize why I chose HO.I appreciate what's involved when it comes to N-scale modeling.

Ibelieve these were offered in HO scale awhile ago, by Walthers or Con-Cor. I bought 1 and lettered it from whatever decals I could find in my leftovers.

Loss of mail and Railway Express Agency contracts prompts severe cuts in passenger service, including annulment of all service to Shamokin, and the Allentown-Harrisburg trains, and a reduction on remaining routes. RDCs replace most locomotive-hauled trains, freeing former passenger locomotives for freight service.
