I have converted two more GP-40 models into GP-35 locomotives and I finished the decal work this weekend.

Charlie...welcome to the forum... great stuff! Was that your layout with the two nw's I caught on you tube? What's your motive power roster and do you do your own custom work?

Sorry for the delayed response. I've been away on a family vacation for a week. As far as I know I'm the only one with RDG NW'2 in G Scale and I do have videos of them running on YouTube so I'm 99% sure it was me that you found.

I have over 50 locos in G Scale, but not all are RDG.

Here's what I can recall, off the top of my head, that are RDG:

NW-2's 102 & 103
GP-35's 3620, 3640, 3656
2-8-8-0
2-8-2
RDC-3
SD-45 7604 (I have a second of the same road number, thinking of re-numbering)
RS-3
ALCO S-4's 54 & 53 (I know, RDG had no S-4's but they are this way from the factory)
2 F Units, 902 & 903
0-6-0T 1251
GP-7's 618 & 621

I do a mix of my own custom work and some done by friends. Jeff @ Shawmut Car Shops prints all of my decals and does some of my custom paint work.

G Scale has very little in the way of selection of motive power or rolling stock, and what is available is often lacking. It is nowhere near where HO was even 10 years ago with selection, so I take a lot of artistic license with things. I figure if people notice the problems, I'll just run the trains faster.

Some things have details on them that only I seem to notice. Like I made custom trucks for my Mallet and 2-8-2 tenders.

For those of you enjoying my work so far, I got to spend some time this afternoon adding more details to the #103.

I added nuts/bolts/washers and an air brake valve, hose, and glad hand:

She's getting there :)
