While Studying some photos, I came across a couple items of Interest about the M-1's. First is that a few of them had high capacity sand domes which look really cool. And in the case of 1714, it received at Some point a high capacity tender as well. This seems to be quite an exceptional tender of which this Is the only example I've seen. Main features are the full width side frames, heightened rear tank sides/deck, and the added coal box. As seen here it looks freshly shopped. Anybody have any info on this tender? At the moment, just a length dimension would be great to get a drawing going with.

Here is a scan for all that may be interested. This is Reading Company sketch #5455, April 28, 1947 of alterations to 9500 gallon I10-sa tender for use with the M1-sa replacing the original M1-sa tenders

Another interesting photo I picked up in my travels, its not the PRR gondola, it's the Reading "Mike" on it's side! For those who really wish to super detail.

Loss of mail and Railway Express Agency contracts prompts severe cuts in passenger service, including annulment of all service to Shamokin, and the Allentown-Harrisburg trains, and a reduction on remaining routes. RDCs replace most locomotive-hauled trains, freeing former passenger locomotives for freight service.
