Two more weeks of progress. Major details are in place and the major styrene fabrication is done. More detail differences are showing too like the different styles of boiler braces to the pilot, one vs two air compressors, the train control box on the single compressor engine and they also have different power reverses. All variation is prototypical. I had to make my own fire doors, I read somewhere some I-8s had one big fire door instead of two which I was temped to do but honestly I have no idea what that type of door looked like.
