Thank you to those who pointed out that units number 604 and higher had 48" fans, while the first four units had the 36" fans. Ordered and received new fans last Friday. Another rainy day project added to the modeling projects list.

Hobo just to clarify the dynamic brake fan dimensions.
EMD did not offer the 48" dynamic brake fan till 8/52. The first dynamic brake equipped RDG GP7's numbers 601/02/03 were built 7/52. Unit number 600 was built on 8/52 and pictures confirm it had the 48" fan...wanted to point that out before you modeled 600.
On page 136 of RDG diesels Vol. 1 shows a picture of 602 leading around Klapperthal curve and in my minds eye it shows the 36" dynamic brake fan.

Something of interest...I checked out you tube videos of the Indiana Northeastern RR and two of the engines in their fleet are x RDG units both still distinguished by their drip strips. Their GP 7 is former RDG 614 and their GP30 is numbered 2185. I'm guessing that was its former Conrail number...if interested check it out.
