Atlas Loads Up More Trainman HO Scale Thrall 4750 Covered Hoppers This covered hopper model is based on a late 1970s 263,000 lbs GRL (Gross Rail Loading) 4750 cubic-foot capacity. Originally designed by Thrall Car primarily for grain transport, these cars have been adapted for many commodities, including fracking sand. This release includes an undecorated version and four schemes with three road numbers available for each. Features: •Fully assmembled, ready to run •Weighted body •Equipped with AccuMate knuckle couplers •Trucks equipped with free-rolling metal wheels •Accurate painting and lettering Reservations Due By: July 29, 2014 Expected Release: January 2015  |
