What's the difference between a GP40-2 and GP39-2? What year did the Reading dieselize? How many tracks were in Rutherford Yard? This board focuses on a discussion of questions or issues concerning the "prototype" Reading Company and its predecessors. While the aim of this board is to serve as a resource for prototype information for modeling purposes, general discussion and sharing of knowledge is also encouraged.

MY ORER shows these Gindy Trailers:

131-165 , 4091-4100 suspect these are not the ones you are seeking, let me search around for others, I’ll let you know.

Gindy as you may know was acquired by The BUDD Companyin 1974

Yeah John I already have those trailer numbers. Thanks anyway! (I am looking for pictures of the 4091-4100 series though).

But thank you for the Info. on Budd acquiring Gindy as I didn't know that.

YES at that point prior to the publication of a separate Official Intermodal Equiqment Register, the “trailers” were shown in the back of the register, in the “800” pages.

The Trailer pages were in the back of the ORER prior to the publication of a separate Intermodal Equipment Register which began in the 1970’s. In my ORER did July 1965, the Trailer pages start on ppg 801, the READING is listed on ppg 845.
