Was the engine terminal on the east bank of Darby Creek (same side as the airport)? If it was on the other side, that put it near Eddystone and the Baldwin Locomotive Works.

Thanks for the drawing with the street names. Surprise was that I expected it to be further west on the Chester Br. A photo from the steam era showed it full of coal hoppers, a photo that could have easily been tagged as being somewhere in the coal regions. Also in that photo was a CNJ Mikado. These two items spurred the interest as to where and how large was this engine terminal and yard? Larger than what was expected. Now back to Google. Thanks to all for this information.

The engine house was on the river side of Route 291, between 420 and the Darby Creek bridges. You can click on a year to see aerial photos in the period it was active. Norman
