What's the difference between a GP40-2 and GP39-2? What year did the Reading dieselize? How many tracks were in Rutherford Yard? This board focuses on a discussion of questions or issues concerning the "prototype" Reading Company and its predecessors. While the aim of this board is to serve as a resource for prototype information for modeling purposes, general discussion and sharing of knowledge is also encouraged.

Check eBay as there is/was just a posting of the company's blue print of the Harrisburg trackage. Print included the interconnection with the PRR and its Harrisburg station's trackage. It was posted under the search for either READING COMPANY, READING LINES or READING RAILROAD. Also, check with the RCT&HS for it, and include your time period of interest. In researching the roundhouse and turntable at Reading Yard for modeling purposes, the society was very helpful and cost of copies very reasonable. Good hunting!
