What's the difference between a GP40-2 and GP39-2? What year did the Reading dieselize? How many tracks were in Rutherford Yard? This board focuses on a discussion of questions or issues concerning the "prototype" Reading Company and its predecessors. While the aim of this board is to serve as a resource for prototype information for modeling purposes, general discussion and sharing of knowledge is also encouraged.

Say does anyone here live in the Ashley, PA. area? Someone sent me an email that had been passed around. So no one knew who it originated from. Anyway it was a photo of a RDG trailer but the shot was far off.

Could someone on this forum go by and check it out for me please? I need to know what number it is. Also take some pictures too please.

I live in Missouri and have absolutely no way of getting up there to do it myself.

Below is the photo. Photographer unknown. J. Caples photo collection.

Thanks,
John Caples
