HHS OFFLINE Fireman Posts: 54 Thank you received: 40	This Sunday took the 702 to the North Penn S Gauge display at the Gilbertsville Fire Hall swap meet. The body is more S12 than DS4-4-1000, but it's what we work with to start in S scale. Do need to paint the handrails yet. Ran like a champ for 3+ hours. Enjoy, Hugh

It’s been too quiet for too long around here! This isn’t a Reading project strictly speaking, but it may be of interest. I’ve been rejuvenating a 15”x48” micro layout I built several years ago. The theme is a tiny farmers’ shortline in southern Pa, inspired by the Stewartstown and the pre-tourist hauling Strasburg. The Walthers’ DCC equipped Plymouth ML-8 is an amazing little locomotive and inspired the redo. I plan to add weeds to the trackage, details and weathering to the Plymouth, and experiment with photo backdrops. It’s been a fun side project!

I bought 4 Bachmann I-10's on ebay got one or two deals and paid to much for some others that were junk, but I need some donars for a pair of I-9 projects in follow the build. I also want to strip and detail and re-power 2 I-10's. I also bought 4 Newer Bachmann consolidations for both of those projects.
then I got the latest MRR and saw Jim Hertzogs layout/story of coal hauling on the reading. Those 2 I-10's had me wondering? are they both repowered and highly detailed Bachmanns, Or are they brass. Even the running boards are thinner than the Bachmann cast on running boards. But knowing Jim they possibly are Bachmanns. Jim if you are seeing this let us all know. Nothing is mentioned in the MRR Mag.story. Great Job Jim!!!
P.S I am also waiting for the body part of the I-9 Follow the build.
