Household supplies needed:
 Paper Towels
 Masking Tape
 Blank drawing paper
 An X-acto or other blade to shave pastel into a powder

If there are any questions after the demo I guess this is as good a place as any.

how well does the krylon work?? That would be a super cheap and easy alternative to airbrushing. I resorted to Tamiya flat clear when I was in Korea because it's all I could get my hands on, and came to love that stuff except for the price

I love the Krylon. It's waaay cheaper than dullcote. It's not quite as dull as dullcote, but it dries quickly and you'd have to REALLY TRY to get runs in it. I got it for $3.98/can at WalMart, but the same day it was $7.99/can at Michaels Arts & Crafts, so be aware.
