Who's reserved one of these? Having recently converted the layout to DCC, I'm enjoying the features on my new Executive Line VO-1000. I had held off buying the Stewart / Bowser AS-16 over the years because of detail discrepancies with RDG units (end handrail configurations, fuel tank position, etc.). It looks like many of these have been addressed on the upcoming model, except for the position of the short hood's headlight (at least for non-dynamic brake units). Have any of you done a major detail upgrade on older Bowser AS-16s? I do luv me them Baldwins!

Have two Reading and one WM on order. Have several of the earlier AS-16 models awaiting decoders and even an older Athearn drive model re-motored and awaiting a decoder. The end handrails are a noticeable difference but never caught the short hood headlight positioning -- thank you. Awaiting the new Bowser units that should be out soon. Whether working Reading Yard or on the locals or mine runs, it was obvious as soon as the train was heard, the power was Baldwin(s).
Could the short hood's headlight be cut out and re-positioned? Don't recall the prototype's nor the model's configurations.
