The Tuesday Night Conspirators met tonight at the home of Don and Jeanne Meeker, also home of the Rocky Mountain Lines. The session was to be staging trains in preparations for the upcoming Rocky Ops (Three days of operating on Denver, Colorado area layouts until you drop.) this April. Sadly, this session began with the announcement that the Rocky Ops will be the next and last ops sessions on this line as Don and Jeanne are downsizing to a smaller house. Having been involved with this line since it was an unfinished basement in a new house, I am bummed out over its pending dismantling. A truly unique (fun) model railroad that became known as "The Railroad". Here are a few YouTube videos of the Rocky Mountain Lines:

PS This house is located just north of Castle Rock, Colorado in Saphirre Pointe on the ridge line dividing the Cherry Creek and the Plum Creek valleys. Anyone interested in an awesome model railroad with a beautiful house built over it? Enjoy the videos. Yes, Reading, CNJ and WM trains ran on this line during BYOT sessions.

I know the feeling. I just watched a recording of us tearing down the East Penn model railroad in Emmaus, PA.in 2006. I had been a member since the 70's. had become president.
We just rebuilt, from the ground up, 1/2 the layout to represent the allentown yard, East penn yard on the Reading through past Emmaus. We were told the VFW was being sold to the boro for a police station. We had to move.
But on the bright side. We merged with a modular club a year later and moved to Coopersburg. We are now part of a larger brand new club layout in the basement of their Town Hall. and called Coopersburg Association of model engineers ( CASME for short) see us at CASME.org. It will turn out good
