WOW! This model is virtually finished. All that is needed is a clear flat coat and weathering! The trucks are on temporarily, just for looks. The original trucks are way too bulky for the model, and didnt match. I believe the trucks on the prototype are similar to 2-axle passenger trucks that are available, I just need to find some online when i get back home. For now, this is the model as she stands, and my new personal favorite piece. It was definitely a rough road getting this one done, it took over a year to get to this stage. Thanks to several individuals for giving me bits of information over the months that I was able to piece together what I needed. Here she is!

Awesome! one of this class is featured in the Wrecks on the Reading book too. This one was rebuilt to a 7000 gallon tender from the I-8/L-7/L-8 tenders.

I would love to build one of these, but since 90691 was used in Tamaqua as the wreck train tender and the fire tender, I am not going to pour any extra blood sweat or tears into another one of these projects if i can help it!

Why did those roof walks sit that high off the deck?
