Wanted to know if anyone has a few good photos of car numbers 1770, 1771. I ended up getting a blueprint of this car and some info when the swinging horse stalls were removed in April 1953 re-classing them BAW. The print is an excellent starting point, but a few good black and whites would greatly help matters out. It seems a few parts from the Bethlehem Car Works, end, roof, fish belly floor are a great starting point for HO scale. Any further information would be greatly appreciated, Bill.

These cars are listed in my 1935 equipment register in the passenger section (see the copy I submitted to the site), my blueprint has a date of 4-29-1927 on it, and the paperwork re-classing the car 3-27-53. My documents note that car 1770 was in regular service in trains 352, 317, 328, and 331 in the March '53 correspondence. Also too, the cars would be now listed in the Official Passenger car register as "BE" not "BH" after the removal of the horse stalls. As I mentioned previously this would make an interesting model, but I lack photos and don't recall anything in any Bee Line issues.

there is a web-site called the alphabet route www.alphabetroute.com/rdg/rosterpdfs/1941PASSCARDGMSINV.pdf
that has plans of the cars when they were still horse cars.I don't know if the exterior was changed or modified when they were rebuilt.if not these would show the door and window arrangements.
