Okay, I received mine yesterday. Gave one a brief trial run. The sound is pretty good and its also very a very good looking model. That said, I didn't take out a scale rule and compare it to a prototype drawing.

I would like to know why someone decided it needed cab sunshades. I'll be adding drip strips and a radio antenna. I'll offer more detailed comments regarding the paint and lettering over the weekend.

Here is the link to their webpage: SW1500 switchers decorated for Reading in their Paragon2 series. MSRP is $249.99, so I would expect a lot from this locomotive at that price point!

Well the colors look good. Nice detail on the frame. But besides them adding sunshades, they also have class lights. I'll stay with the Athearn models.

Here is another eBay grab of #2757 (part of the eleven ordered #2750-2760) either awaiting delivery or just delivered. You probably won’t find a better shot for color comparison. Note the yellow overspray on the coupler and all the yellow stenciling around the fuel and air tank and black stenciling on the hood doors (very faint, but it is there). Does anyone have an idea what the stenciling on the sill just right of “Safety Always” says?
