This board is the place where questions and information specific to MODELING the Reading Company, its equipment and operations can be shared - questions like "What was the window arrangement of AF Tower in Alburtis?" and "What color paint do YOU use to paint the Reading's cream-and-brown buildings?" We also want to hear about YOUR Reading modeling projects!

The Pennsylvania State Archives has a large collection of Reading RR steam locomotive drawings, including many for Wootten boilers. A detailed index is available as an Excel spreadsheet in the Reading Modeler downloads section, or you can access it through the State Archives website via this link:

www.phmc.state.pa.us/bah/dam/mg/railroadanthracite.htm

(scroll down to the Philadelphia & Reading section and click on the "Mechanical Drawing Index" link)

Went to glen glenonoko's list. Yep there is a list. A big list. yes it is of aviable information. I though you could just go there and get one. Aviable to all who will pursue the list, and find out the fees are to purchase the info. Then waite for it be sent. The request was information on a drawing of a Wootten fire boxed locomotive. I sent 2. All he needs to do is open the link to the Free E-book. I know of another. A Reading 4-4-0 camelback class D44-11.
