This board is the place where questions and information specific to MODELING the Reading Company, its equipment and operations can be shared - questions like "What was the window arrangement of AF Tower in Alburtis?" and "What color paint do YOU use to paint the Reading's cream-and-brown buildings?" We also want to hear about YOUR Reading modeling projects!

I am just confirming John Halls reply that this is a 1100 series car. What is the number range? I am building 3 of them now.

Below the Reading Banner at the top of this page, click on the word articles for a drop down list - see Rolling Stock Reference and click. Scroll to bottom of page and click on click here for Passenger Equipment. Beside the photo click on the word Coaches.

One will see an alphabetical list of coach classes and see that PBn is listed as 1100 - 1284.

:) this site has a wealth of information available to all!

Bill this is the reference file that I have been trying to get you to use. it is the most informative file on this entire web-page. the rolling stock reference is like the "bible" of Reading equipment.and it was compiled by John Hall, I have used it so much that I printed most of it out and have filled 2ea. 3" 3-ring binders.
