I am planning to convert a Bachmann 2-8-0 I10 to an E5. I have photos showing the tender (Reading Power Pictorial P41, Reading Railroad Action pp 36, 86,87 and Reading Railroad Action V2 p5) but don't have any dimensions or a drawing. Are either available? The article on the follow the build forum for converting an 0-8-0 into an E5 by Casey will be very helpful.

If you can gain access to the RCT&HS Bee Line V.20 No.4 of 1998 every answer you may have pertaining to this build will be answered.

Bill,
That sounds great, but unfortunately I do not have access to the issues of Bee Line. Is there a way to get a copy of that issue, a copy of the article or even just a drawing of the tender? I am not a member of the RCT&HS and I don't know of any members here in Western Ohio. Any suggesting are more than welcome!

Bill,
If you can an don't mind, PM me your address and I will photocopy the Bee Line issue for you. I don't think I have much info on these engines, but will check the 'archives' at home here for anything else.

Bill,

I have a copy of Edward Weswisser's (sp?) book, Steam Locomotives of the P&R/Reading that includes drawings of most of the locomotives. Give me a couple of days to locate it to see if the E-8 has drawings. I am fairly certain it does.
