A pair of geep 7's 625 and 632 meet the local pulling four hopper for the local coal distributor.

The local is backed up by 92878 which is a factory painted Proto unit I weathered and modernized the windows.

The power today for the local is SW9 1509.Another Proto unit I did awhile back.

A bird's eye veiw of the meet.

The gon is an Athearn product I did years ago,HK decals. The paint is SCII RDG mix I bought from a hobby shop in Allentown some time in the eighties. The 2nd gon is from ConCor,SCII RDG green and various decals used.

The next two are pics on Walther's coils that I added weathering to.The darker green is a recent release, while the lighter green car was released way back when.

The caboose and gon are proto units. The gon was painted with SCII black and HK decals were used. The load is from Chooch. The cab factory painted I RDGized it by painting the windows.

1509 passing.

Chris - I'm with Rdgrail on the 1509. It's a good looking representation. Out of curiousity, what did you use for the railings?

Completed two box car projects.First up is 18066 from class XMwa.The unit started out as an undec.Intermountain kit.The car itself is not prototypical, welded not riveted. The doors are Branchline offerings.I did not realize until after I applied the paint that I used 6 panel doors instead of seven.Seeing that the RDG had 6 panel doors on classes XMa,XMc and other classes I decided I could live with it.
The model was painted with SCII RDG green and decals were from the RDG Modeler. The aci decal is from Microscale.
Left side.

Right side.

After some weathering.
