Another completed project is my 619. The unit started as an undecorated Atlas model the body was painted using SCII RDG colors.Drip strips, windshield wipers, arm rest, wind deflectors, speed recorder were added. I carefully cut off the molded on drop steps and replaced them also the 36" dynamic brake fan was removed and replaced with the correct 48" Cannon fan. Several photos were used for the correct application of the G&Y paint. TCS WOW sound with a TDS super sonic mini speaker were also added.

Every once in awhile I decide to model an alternate history model so when Walther's released their low nose GP9 the wheels started turning I decided on GP7 #634. Now 634 received damage from a collision with a haulpak in late 75 and with conrail a few months away its fate was up in the air. Conrail sent 634 to Paducah for rebuilding but on my RDG RR Conrail failed to arrive and the RDG sent the 634 to Paducah.
Hope you like the results...many detail parts used but in my search for the oxbow air filter came up with a big zero...if I find one I'll add it later.

The unit was painted using SCII paints and weathered lightly. Microscale decals... Note Microscale has now restocked the RDG barricade stripes 87-708. I installed the TCS Kat3 wow kit and the TDS super sonic speaker

Thanks for looking

Paducah!!! Was able to find the horst air intake and added the part to my alternate history 634

The original motherboard was removed and the mounting tabs on the weight were removed and sanded to accommodate the TCS wow Kat3 kit. I also used the double sugar cube speakers #691-1291 from Bowser...sounds fantastic.
New LED's 2mm from Miniatronics were also installed.

More great models, Chris! The alternative history rebuilds are really cool! I'd love to see a weathering tutorial on AIM powders and Pan Pastels. Your weathering is always spot-on: neither too much nor too little!
