Hello,

I am modeling the Reading RR 1959 era in N Scale.

I am wondering if anyone knows the font type of the lettering on the side of the box cars. I would like to place a different Build Date on two cars.

Than you in advance.

If you're referring to the dimensional data, build date, etc. the Roman font I use for the Reading Modeler line of decals is "Northern Pacific Roman" available from www.railfonts.com. I find this Roman style to be very close to the lettering on Reading cars.

Good luck,
Tom

From friends that make decals, most of the time the lettering railroads used were not a "font". Yes there is close which may be good enough for you.

I have a PRR P70 coach lettering drawing. The letters are shapes with specific radius etc, dimensioned like it was a machine part.
