Hi folks,

Does anyone make a correct or close enough ACF 2 bay LOg covered hopper?
Also does anyone know if there are correct decals out there? I'd like to model a LOg for bulk sugar.

Thanks!

I believe most of us have just grabbed the MDC roundhouse 2 bay and made do with some modifications. Mostly based on the good enough without going nuts theory.

Try E-bay for some herald King decals. I don't recall Microscale making them.
I'll check tonight if I have any of the Rhoads/Hall Covered Hopper decals left. I kind of doubt it.

Here is a glimpse of two of my green cars. Actually the MDC car is an LOf and I believe it was lettered with the Rhoads/Hall decals that we had printed in yellow. The LOp is from a combo of stuff including some John Caples originals.

Hi Rob, thanks!

Amazing no one makes this hopper. The closest I've found is a Kadee car but since that is a PS-2 it's not correct at all.

If I use the Kadee car I would just have to had a support rib down the center. Would also have to file the roof flush along the sides. Car would be a foobie but at least it would fill the void so to speak. Maybe.
