What's the difference between a GP40-2 and GP39-2? What year did the Reading dieselize? How many tracks were in Rutherford Yard? This board focuses on a discussion of questions or issues concerning the "prototype" Reading Company and its predecessors. While the aim of this board is to serve as a resource for prototype information for modeling purposes, general discussion and sharing of knowledge is also encouraged.

The menu I have doesn't have any "signature" desserts. Instead it includes simple items like freshly baked pie, Vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, and coconut bread pudding. Granted it's from 1958, beyond the hey-day for rail dining.

I did have that Crusader issue of the BeeLine. Yes, the menu does not say that anything seems special.

I ended up with a simple apple pie for my ops dessert. However, if anyone has any other info on what might be a Reading signature dessert on any train or maybe the YMCA's, please let me know.
Thanks,
Barry
