Don't feel bad Mitch. My wife recently talked me out of chucking everything and going to ON30! For the same reason of course. So I can see what I'm working on.

a lot of kit-bash projects from older die work seems to be rendered obsolete by the new stuff, huh? The only problem is the new stuff makes your older upgrades look pale in comparison-the ones I sweated bullets over years ago.. but never dreamed the stuff of the last 5-10 years would be so detailed... so I either ignore the new stuff, or get tempted to chuck it all and go with G scale so I can see what I'm working on!

Rob-good to see the PRSL running in "G" scale--are you up here in the Frozen North??? John-I hear ya with the "too small to see" deal.. geez, 20 years ago I had to put everything under my cars-piping, brake levers, all the fittings.. now if you can't see it, it ain't there! Have a great New years, my Rdg modeler family!

This is a funny spot to discuss changing vision problems. FYI, my 58-year old eyes are supplemented with an OptiVisor, a magnifying lamp on my desk and shortly, prescription reading glasses. Now, who makes a good "S" scale RS-3?
