Anyone from this site planning to attend the NMRA National Convention in Cleveland? The convention itself is from Sunday July 13th until the 20th, the National Train Show is Friday the 19th to Sunday the 21st.

Wish I could.Hopefully a new GP 35 will be revealed by some manufacturer. An available quality 35 is surely needed for us RDG modelers.

I'm attending on Thursday, as I'm giving my Reading Tug build clinic at 4pm. Staying overnight and attending the train show on Friday.
My wife and I are meeting-up with friends from Australia, that we met when the convention was in Detroit, 7 years ago!

I've heard the train show may be smaller... as several manufacturers have decided not to attend because the NMRA Show people are difficult to deal with and publicity has not been good. We'll see.....!
Thanks,
Barry

Sorry Chris... didn't get to see your post here before leaving.
I did talk to many of the manufacturers, those that HAVE donated to the RRRMM-II and trying to get more donations to the door prize pile. I have some emails to write, but I believe we'll have 2-4 more companies on board with donations.
Saw Rob Hinkle and Dick Foley at the convention.
The train show was typical with most manufacturers present.
Thanks,
Barry
