after seeing this post I checked my old decals. I only had 3 sets not complete. I robbed the short reading word to be used on Bachman non reading lettered I-10's. The balance of the decal set is there. I am suprised I only had three. The price marked on them was $.75 a set. I do have 10-20 sets of each of hoppers & box cars. All waiting for my retirement. maybe sooner!

Holy SHHHHHHHHHmoke Batman, is right. I have 25+/- sets of John Hall/Norm Rhoad's steam and another 25+/- sets of the diesels here at 4 bucks a pop. The steam set has more variations of the lettering then Champs and many classes and engine house assignments. Steam set has 3 sizes of Reading, a Philadelphia & Reading and The Reading, now they might not be as "clean" as a champ but they were made by Rail Graphics.......... Technically, one could do 5 steamers with one set of decals. Maybe they need to go on ebay, lol.

More power to the seller, I know who it is, but still WOW. I better put my Champ stuff in the safety deposit box.

Here we go again, same seller and he/she has got two bidders duking it out for them.

Champ HO Reading steam decal auction

If anything, these auctions should be an indication of the demand for HO scale Reading decal sets.

All this says is people still want to use the decals so a company needs to pick up the slack *cough* microscale *cough*.
