Micro-scale makes a dulux gold lettering for diesels in their set #87-691 for RS-3, GP-7. and they just released a passenger car set for Reading which should be the same size.

Yeah it's not impossible to paint a steam engine, the hard thing to come across is the large lettering for g-3, t-1 and k-1 and I personally still have a couple sets. It just would be nice if they did one of their large sheets to be able to do a couple engines from one sheet.

Tom, or in this case what would forum members be looking for decal wise to make up artwork? I have just about everything to cover Reading steam. The T/K 1's, have a set that was for exclusively for the G-3's, tender stripes with the indented corners, all in the vault. Let me know, because I certainly will purchase my fair share!!!
