LOL, Actually.... Wasn't that the bugaboo that fouled the whole plan up? The P&R couldn't get control of that bridge and turned up 1 mile short of a Boston to Pittsburgh Railroad, and that one mile was the Poughkeepsie Bridge.

Nice picks Rick.I'm glad you got your picture posting issues worked out.

I always felt that if the RDG, in its early years,would have expanded north and west with it's own rails NS 1067 would be common place and not fall under the catagory of heritage unit.But then again the politicians were on another railroads side.

I have said thru the years, the 2 RRs I hated to see go into CR was the RDG and the E-L.
