I saw the announcement this morning and wondered if the Reading cars are correct.

Reading's Vanishing Mill Gon

One of those ECW kits is patiently waiting for assembly in my collection. I have yet to figure out where or how to hide weight in the car. It will probably require fabricating a permanent load since there is no place in the frame or floor for weights. For an older kit, the detail isn’t too bad, but the multi-piece plastic trucks and wheels should be replaced.

RRDavey OFFLINE Engineer Posts: 98 Thank you received: 24	I just checked Bossler's Color Guide to RDG Frieght and Passenger Cars. The Class GHg gondola pictured in it has 17 ribs; the Athearn and ECW models have 19. Were there variants within the class?--Dave

However, probably not in the number of ribs. For myself, while I strive for accuracy in my builds, I won't ignore a good running, accurately decorated RTR car over 2 extra ribs.
