This board is the place where questions and information specific to MODELING the Reading Company, its equipment and operations can be shared - questions like "What was the window arrangement of AF Tower in Alburtis?" and "What color paint do YOU use to paint the Reading's cream-and-brown buildings?" We also want to hear about YOUR Reading modeling projects!

I guess it would represent an XAe rebuild, although I think the number is for a Xad. I'm rusty on my class details. It's a Mckean 1-1/2 door kit I got at a show already painted and decaled, that I made the doors for. At the time, I just wanted a double door 40 footer. The details need a tune up. I'll get a better pic asap.

Some more pics of my XAd or e.

The only other thing I might do is fill in the bottom sill at the ends and add that tab under the doors.

In an attempt to make some sort of progress I took the Brewer module outside today to airbrush the newest track additions which have been awaiting ballast until painted. The outside temperature was suitable for spraying floquil. Got done just in time for
Rain to start pouring. So here it is airing out in the bathroom. Scared the crap out of
My wife who walked in on some six foot tall mutant using the can.
Hopefully I can parlay this into more (modeling) progress soon.
