Hello, all!

I'm trying to letter a Burro crane model for the Reading. Does anyone have a photo that would show where the logos and numbers should be placed?

Thanks in advance!

Norman What time frame do you model? When new the Burros had the RDG name spelled out. By the 1970's. They just had the RDG diamonds on them.

Hi, John!

I'm looking at the last ten years or so when they just had the diamonds. Thanks!

Do you have a picture of one at all? I would love to model one. Did they have them in the 1940s at all or was that mainly a 70s crane?

Lionel made a tinplate Burro Crane in the 1950's. I know that the Reading had them in the early 1960's. Someone should try Google.

According to my quick research, Burro Cranes were developed in the early 20th Century and were marketed as "Burro Cranes" starting in the mid 1940's. Hope that helps answer questions.
