Bill...I too have referenced your article in the building of my 449/87/94/98 and yes Great job on that it was well appreciated personally.
I'm not worried about the correct fuel tank.I understand that is basically impossible. What bothers me is the fact that they ignore the auxillary equipment box arraignment found on countless prototypes and the dynamic brake set up...that's a simple fix.

To be correct, the 3-left side generator access doors need to be 2-feet shorter also. I'm working on a group now including shortened hood doors and
Archer louver decals. Its a work in progress, not ready to share yet.

Nice work by Rick Bates on the Reading shops article in Bee Line V33 #1&2.

Some nice pictures and charts. Just think, for anyone planning to build that in HO scale, the Loco Shop from the south end of the blacksmith shop to the north end of the machine shop is about 22 feet long in 1/87th (HO) scale.

Kudos to Key Printing for lining up the photos on pages 38/39 and 42/43.... and a few smaller shots through the production...that could be a challenge.

Something cool that I saw and cannot recall seeing it before in "official" paint, on page 39 on the back of 1707's cab "Save coal" reminder. I wonder how many other locos sported this note.
