This board is the place where questions and information specific to MODELING the Reading Company, its equipment and operations can be shared - questions like "What was the window arrangement of AF Tower in Alburtis?" and "What color paint do YOU use to paint the Reading's cream-and-brown buildings?" We also want to hear about YOUR Reading modeling projects!

Nice photos as well as great modeling on both the cars as well as your overhead catenary system. I am just starting to build a Reading Terminal Building in Philly. I'll go with plastic material and build the basic rectangular structure first with overhead catenary. Last, I'll build the canopied top to set on top so as to be able to lift it off to service the station track area.
Good luck. You are doing an exceptional job and you are an inspiration to the rest of us Reading modelers.

Robin, the blueliner is not powered, there are several power trucks out there, I just have not decided on which one I want to use

To many projects! I wish I could say I have gotten more done paint-wise on my Reading MUs. Hopefully some Blue-liners won't be far off into the future as kits. IHP seems to threaten to do the Ex-combine cars from time to time.

I wonder which part of the Reading's Electrified zone would be the best for making a small module?

Wonder if the Main Street station area on the Norristown Line would make a good subject. Simple track, industries nearby and the line used to run to Lansdale IIRC.
