This board is the place where questions and information specific to MODELING the Reading Company, its equipment and operations can be shared - questions like "What was the window arrangement of AF Tower in Alburtis?" and "What color paint do YOU use to paint the Reading's cream-and-brown buildings?" We also want to hear about YOUR Reading modeling projects!

I added 3410/18 to my roster of 39-2's.I discovered that the application of the short nose is not the same for all the units.
Notce the upper corners of the short hood on 3410 do not have the yellow stripe.

Nice work-glad you're back on board! Looks like either you extended your module or it's got some additions-I like the curved grade crossing-so typical "Upcountry" Rdg!

They look great! What was your technique for adding the drip strips? I have 3 of the Atlas GP40-2's that I want to add on to them.

Thanks John.I use strip styrene to model the drip strips.I added this feature to my three factory painted Atlas 40-2's.Here are two pics of the factory painted models with the strips added.

I'm working on a C424 and posting pics under the follow the build title. When I get to the cab portion of the project I'll have pictures posted on the technique I used for adding the drip strips.
