That was the correct number so I guess they discontinued it! I just checked Details West and Walthers online. Nothing!

I'm sure you can still find the doors at swap meets. Or even well stocked hobbyshops!

You're in luck. On sale at Ebay listing #331193513457 for $1.00. This is the door that you want for the XLj boxcar. I have NO financial gain in this transaction. Just posting to help you out.

As soon as I get some free time I'm going to make a mold of the doors that Rob provided so that they can be cast in resin and shared with the world...

Picked up two more of the accurail car and repainted both units.I completed one the other still needs decals, need to locate a couple more HK sets.I was also able to obtain the proper doors so I replaced the door on my 20054.
20054 after door replacement.

I numbered the other 20118.Pictures of both sides.

Both coupled together.

Finished my third car.I had to piece meal the decal work.I used various decals from HK,RDG modeler,Rail Graphics and MS so the shades of yellow are different.I chose 20182 and used a picture from railfan.net for reference.Since this car number is higher then my previous models I decided to model this car as newly delivered so no weathering was applied and the model was sealed with a semi-gloss instead of dull coat.

Right side.

Left side.

All three cars.
