Finally done, getting the last few things I needed was a bit of a chore but got it all mid last week.

Another rebuild is done a couple years in the making. It got put on the back burner a few times for a few reasons but more recently was it got a wobble while running and I figured out the wheels were bent on the axles. I just needed for order a new set from bachmann but kept putting it off, then around christmas doing a favor I had to order a motor to fix someones christmas B23-7 so I ordered the drivers as well.

The original bash was a mantua shell and a chopped I-10 tender shell, if I were totally restarting the project I would do the cylinders differently. I used mantua cylinders from a switcher but being metal and not knowing at the time spectrum engines carry current in the rods I had to then drill out the cylinders and fill them with putty so they didn't short. Today I would just scratch build new cylinders but I didn't have the skill at the time and there was no really turning back, it works it was just a pain. Once the running gear was working well it got new scratch shells the tender being built at least a year ago as I pick at other parts.

Decals are microscale Fs for the yellow and a microscale alphabet sheet for the white.
