This board is the place where questions and information specific to MODELING the Reading Company, its equipment and operations can be shared - questions like "What was the window arrangement of AF Tower in Alburtis?" and "What color paint do YOU use to paint the Reading's cream-and-brown buildings?" We also want to hear about YOUR Reading modeling projects!

Wowak got it. Almost right on the nose, its a smaller version of the pic you posted L&NE E-8 number 27 lasted into 1950, or so says northeast.railfan.net.

Still trying to figure out decals, worst case scenario I'll use the FA decals but I want to try my luck with shows to maybe find box car or maybe even caboose logos that are bigger.

I think O scale would work but of course micro scale makes the L&NE decals in ho and n only.

2 more weeks of progress. Its going to be on hold for a couple weeks waiting to see what parts I can get at an upcoming show, before I just oder the remainder. The cab interior got a quick slather of paint not being all that cautious to the surrounding areas seeing its just going to be painted later. Rivets are micro mart decal rivets.
