What's the difference between a GP40-2 and GP39-2? What year did the Reading dieselize? How many tracks were in Rutherford Yard? This board focuses on a discussion of questions or issues concerning the "prototype" Reading Company and its predecessors. While the aim of this board is to serve as a resource for prototype information for modeling purposes, general discussion and sharing of knowledge is also encouraged.

By all means post the photo. A bad photo is better than no photo!

WOW... it took awhile, but the MoW vans are complete, or at least for now. Yes, more detail can be added, but I'm happy for now!

Check 'em out and let me know what you think....

Here's a couple of more pictures, making an 8 slide presentation. (so far)

I added some hi-rail wheels to the passenger van.

Gee Barry, don't you think it would have been prototypical for some superintendent to have a Z28 HiRail?

Nice Work Barry. Say You aught to add to your yellow van the flashing beacon and the airhorns. You can see them in your prototype photo of the van. It would really set it off.

I bought a Magnuson Models Van just like we talked about earlier. I plan on adding the horn and beacon to mine when I get to it in the fall.
