What's the difference between a GP40-2 and GP39-2? What year did the Reading dieselize? How many tracks were in Rutherford Yard? This board focuses on a discussion of questions or issues concerning the "prototype" Reading Company and its predecessors. While the aim of this board is to serve as a resource for prototype information for modeling purposes, general discussion and sharing of knowledge is also encouraged.

OK, with the Ford Van pictured above and the picture of 3 trucks on page 2 of this item, plus the picture of the door decal by John... I'm going to do it!!

I have at least 2 Ford Vans very similar if not matching the photo, (for year-body style) but thay are window vans, so I'll have to fill those in and smooth out the body for it to be a panel van as shown.
I might even get to this over the weekend - it's a small project... and I'll post some pics when done.

If it comes out nice enough, I'll bring it to the Reading RR Modelers Meet in October!
Thanks,
Barry

Barry,
You are working in HO scale right? Then who makes the Ford van model that you are talking about?

Barry,
Not sure if this is a Ford van or not. But it is a passenger van. Note the flashing beacon and air horns!
