This board is the place where questions and information specific to MODELING the Reading Company, its equipment and operations can be shared - questions like "What was the window arrangement of AF Tower in Alburtis?" and "What color paint do YOU use to paint the Reading's cream-and-brown buildings?" We also want to hear about YOUR Reading modeling projects!

These photos were taken this morning just before I made the coal load - which is drying now. I am officially calling G-1sb 204 DONE! Official completed photos will be coming soon.

I tried to make my own version of Floquil Grimy Black with Scalecoat but it was a bit too gray. Yesterday I mixed Scalecoat Loco Black in with Scalecoat Flat Glaze. It was not the complete coverage of just paint but did alter the looks. I think it blackened it up just right.

I was about to hit my attention span wall where it might not have gotton completed. It is about 3 months of pretty steady work. So glad it is done.

Onward to fluffing some Reading passenger cars that I have had for a while. What is it with all this Reading modeling? (:->)
