You've been busy, despite (or maybe because of) your deployment! It all looks great, Aaron.

Yes, an Alps MD-5000. the resolution is up to 2400x2400 which allows very crisp printing at this size. Unfortunately the darn things cost $600+ on ebay.

Is it tough to get the Alps MD-5000 working? Do you have a PC running Windows 3.1 or XP? I'm still debating whether to buy an Alps MD-5000 or try out Decal Pro Fx.

Looks interesting, and there's less investment than an Alps MD-5000 if you have access to a color laser printer. I'm not sure, however, if it's capable of very small lettering.

I don't have it with me, unfortunately. I'm going to outsource my decals through a third party while I'm here (I need gon decals). I use XP. It works just fine, it takes some time adjusting to the program and making sure the colors are calibrated when you need to print white, but for me, it's worth it because I can't do what i want to do in N scale without the capability of printing in white.

I'm not sure what Decal Pro does, so I have no bias on it.

Taking a closer look at it, it is much cheaper than an ALPS, but i don't see where it shows the resolution ability. I have never used dry transfer, and I think i would honestly prefer a traditional decal in case I need to make corrections. Really don't have any experience though
