Also added 18088.Same description as 066.I did remove the roof walks and weathering has not yet been applied.I used the MS RDG DF decal.Note; The microscale decal is short.Looks like it was created for a 6 foot door,so I hand painted the panels. One problem I ran into was I did not have the proper orange on hand to match the orange decal printing.I mixed Floquil reefer orange and yellow to pretty closely match.

A look at the two freshly completed units.

Teamed up with two other members of the class.

With the addition of these XMwa boxes it brings my total up to five boxes that I created using decals from the RDG Modeler.I'd like to thank Tom for his efforts for providing these.
Here's a look at the other three.

Again,Thanks Tom and looking forward to future releases.

A couple of CNJ SD35's pulling a consist of RDG boxes.

I did these Atlas SD's a few years ago. They were painted using Floquil's CNW green and Seaboard Air Line yellow. The decals are from Raritan Bay Hobbies. The warning decals are Microscale.

Nice to see well-done models using Reading Modeler decals. I actually am modeling #18088 at the moment and have found the same issue with the DF decal being too short - very disappointing that Microscale didn't do their homework. I am working on artwork for boxcar red speed lettering cars that will have both a black and white DF with no background, so modelers can simply paint the door panel and apply the decal.

Nice touch with what you did with the roofwalk, BTW. Need to do the same thing on my model. I'm also a fan of the CNJ SD35s - I painted an old Atlas/Roco unit in that scheme for run-through power - looks nice mated with a yellow/green RDG unit...
