TOPIC: GP7 steam generators

GP7 steam generators 3 years 6 months ago #6564

Does anyone have a photo or drawing showing location, on the short hood of the passenger GP7s, of the steam generator vent and exhaust stack? I am painting and decaling an N-scale GP7 without dynamic brakes and have found that shapeways actually has the stacks/vents. I also want to make sure they are accurate for RDG.
Thanks

Hi John;
That would be very helpful! Thank you very much for offering. You can forward to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. I have searched high and low for a good photo of the roof of a passenger GP7 but can't find one anywhere. There are a ton of roster shots but nobody ever took one from a bridge as a 660 series GP7 went by underneath. By the way, Shapeways also has n-Scale AS16 shells. Browse their website if you get a chance, they have lots of very interesting model railroad related stuff.
Thanks again and stay safe!
