What's the difference between a GP40-2 and GP39-2? What year did the Reading dieselize? How many tracks were in Rutherford Yard? This board focuses on a discussion of questions or issues concerning the "prototype" Reading Company and its predecessors. While the aim of this board is to serve as a resource for prototype information for modeling purposes, general discussion and sharing of knowledge is also encouraged.

janis OFFLINE Apprentice Posts: 17 Thank you received: 8	Anybody have any photos of the City Branch, specifically the yard under the Philadelphia Inquirer Building. My uncle used to do relief yardmastering there from time to time. I found this photo on the web: I also found this photo: Of note: I once rode a switcher up this ramp. The crew spotted a box car at street level in the left side of the photo. A long time ago.
