TOPIC: Doodlebug and MU horns

Doodlebug and MU horns 3 years 6 months ago #6567

Folks,
I'm installing an ESU sound decoder in Doodlebug 4067.
The model has two horn trumpets facing downward then turning out.
One is short and one is long. I think that the MU cars used the same trumpets.
Does anyone know which horns these might be? Nathan, Leslie, Wabco?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Ted

These maybe Strombos (sp?) horns, as used on Interurban cars. Believe Precision Scale Co. offered them in HO. A good reference for model and prototype traction and trolley items is: hoseeker.net/interurban.html
