HELLO to all that check in on this site!! It has been awhile since I too have been here, sorry... retirement has been excellant and I've been busy with my own modeling. Here is the intinal news of our next MEET!!

READING RR MODELERS MEET VI September 21-23, 2018
We'll be at the Reading RR Heritage Museum on Friday and Saturday. A train trip is being planned for Sunday! Wehope to open registration in a few weeks! I hope to see as many of you there as possible!!

Hello!!! wow... it's been 4 months since I posted the registration form and event info. My sincerest apologies for not keeping this forum more well informed.

As an UPDATE - registrations are coming in - THANKS! Door prizes have been arriving for the past week or so. Walthers, ExactRail, Bachmann and Micro Engineering have all sent quality items! MORE are expected!!

With this being September 1st, there are deadlines approaching on registering for the lunch and Sunday train ride.

Here is the event schedule.....
EVENT SCHEDULE
Friday, September 21 - Reading Railroad Heritage Museum
3pm-6pm – Registration, Heritage Museum open/tours & social time
6pm - 8:30pm – clinics
6pm Barry Hensel – Basic layout operations
7:15pm Dale Woodland - F is for Freight
The Reading Railroad’s Covered Wagon units

Saturday, September 22 - Reading Railroad Heritage Museum
8am-10am – registration
8am-5pm - model displays, vendor sales, clinics,
modeling awards and door prizes
10am - 3:30pm – clinics
10am Ron Giordani - modeling the Reading SW900m
11:15am Dick Foley - Post War Reading Boxcars, 1946-1956

2:15pm William W Witman - "Operations on the Reading Division
before Penn Central." Freight Schedules, Train Consists,
Motive Power and railroading by Signal Indication.
3:30pm Casey Peters - overview of the Q-1 or L-7 build, or how
to choose what to build from plus building parts like
pilots, domes, stacks, etc.
12:15pm-1pm – lunch break
1pm-2pm – Meet the Modelers!
4:30pm-5pm – close of event day, door prizes
6pm-10pm – layout tours

Sunday, September 24 - prototype day
9am-3:30pm – ride on the ride Reading Co combine #408 at the
Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern RR
