Are these available in HO? Reason I ask is that I have a 3d print design in N scale, and I would offer it scaled to HO if there is any desire for them...

The Red Caboose XMu (actually a PRR X29)have the shorter 6 foot CRECO three panel doors in HO scale.
The taller CRECO three panel doors for cars like the XMv and XAPa are not available in HO scale.
I would be interested in doors for these taller cars.

Okay, if someone could give me as exact a dimension as they can for the height and width of the 8' doors in HO scale, I can recheck my measurements and prepare them for a test print for someone before I make them publicly for sale

Before anyone puts the wagon before the horse, the Red Caboose X-29 interior height would best represent the XMt class box although totally different side panel count. The XMu, was a 9'3" inside height that of a 1932 ARA standard box, and the XMv was sort of a hybrid 1937 AAR box with '32 characteristics. Now, F&C has recently released the XMv and XAe. These Creco doors were slightly different in height than the XAd, XARa. It would be best to get a general idea of what HO scale boxcar one would utilize, i.e. a square corner post 1937 AAR box by Red Caboose and scale from there. I did a pattern for the double door to replicate an XAg, on a Life-Like Proto 2000 50' end door box, a fellow "modeler" from the site has a set of these, and if anyone is interested in these I can make them as needed. It's just some food for thought, in going forward with the idea, and Turbo, there just happens to be a few existing XMv's close to my residence should you need any super detail photos for reference.

I would love close-up shots of any existing cars that I can get!

I doors I have the design for are for the 8' wide standard boxcar, not the XMu or XMt. I am fortunate enough that Micro-Trains makes the CRECO in N scale for those boxcars. Also looking at your HO cars, I realize they may have more detail that my design, which might exceed my current skill set at 3D design. I will have to look into it, but the close-ups will absolutely help. In N scale, the details aren't as necessary as with HO. But I can try to work them if there is a market for them.

Bill,
Those doors in the photo are 6 foot doors?
They look great.
