TOPIC: baggage car vents

baggage car vents 8 years 7 months ago #4822

Hey Reading Fans,

I am ordering some roofs and roof vents from PRSL_Bill (S scale, of course) and I am wondering if anyone could shed some light on if a baggage car had any vents? In doing a web search, I found that the number of vents for coaches and combines are all over the place. However, I did not find any examples of baggage cars.

Thanks,

Here's a place to start, Tom: www.readingmodeler.com/index.php/article...ger/207-baggage-cars.
There are some model photos here: bethlehemcarworks.com/Products/Craftsman_Kit_Cars/index.html. I don't know how accurate their placement is.

Bethlehem Car Works does an excellent job of researching, and its owner is a well spring of information on passenger equipment. Comparing BCW drawings to still photos and videos, follow their drawings.

I didn't mean to cast aspersions on BCW. I appreciate their production of great models and the obvious investment that has gone into them.
